Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups freshly cut rose petals/blossoms, or 2 tablespoons dried rose petals
  • 1 black/green tea bag
  • 2 cups (480ml) hot water
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) lemon juice, optional
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey, optional

Instructions

  • If using fresh rose petals, thoroughly rinse them with water before use.
  • In a small saucepan, add water and bring it to boil. Remove from heat, then add a black/green tea bag and fresh/dried rose petals or rose buds. Cover the saucepan and let the rose petals steep for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture and pour rose tea into a mug or a cup.
  • Add in honey and lemon juice to taste or just enjoy as it is.
